The 15th Assises des Déchets will be held on 2 and 3 October 2019 in Nantes; this event will be structured around an exciting common thread: "Waste and resources: coercion or incentives?"
In the waste management agenda, the Assises des Déchets is a "must" not to be missed. The next event is being prepared and the dates have been set - Wednesday 2 and Thursday 3 October 2019 - together with the venue: the "Cité des Congrès" in Nantes.
The members of the steering committee and the event partners - stakeholders, State services, local and regional authorities, private enterprises, associations and community groups - have started work on the programme structure about reflection and exchange. As usual, the objective is to take stock of the situation in the waste management industry, and to address its long term, structuring stakes and challenges. These themes are precisely in line with the common thread of the 15th Assises des Déchets: "Waste and resources: coercion or incentives?"
2 October - The first day shall be dedicated to participative workshops the outputs of which shall be converted into proposals made to the Government. The day will end with a "speed meeting-type" interactive presentation of societal and technical innovations followed by a cocktail.
3 October - During the second day discussions and assessments will be held on the state of the art and on the goals and perspectives declined at the local, national, European level and, last but not least, with a view on the international context. The second day is usually the opportunity for the Minister of Ecological and Inclusive Transition to express and clarify his orientations.
The event will end with a major discussion dealing with a current and urgent topic. In 2019, as during the 14th Assises, the goal will be to explore possible solutions to prevent or manage sea waste.
Join us on 2 and 3 October 2019 in the Cité des Congrès, in Nantes.
